Role description
Are you an experienced food technologist and ready to join our research and development team as Flavour Application Technologist? Ideally, you will already have experience in flavouring trials for the development of beverages, dairy products, confectionery and bakery products. Working closely with our Head of Department, you will use your knowledge, perseverance and inspiration to professionally evaluate flavour performance and create fine product samples that exceed our customers' expectations.
Your Mission
Using your expertise, you will work in close partnership with our R&D department to :
- Support the completion of application laboratories, ensuring that equipment, ingredients, and processes are properly set up for optimal results.
- Develop and use advanced application recipes to apply flavours across multiple product categories for sensory evaluation, flavour testing, and preparing samples for customer presentations.
- Act as the internal technical expert for food applications and provide support for the development of key categories and markets.
- Formulate, match and evaluate market products, customer targets, and prototype samples.
- Work closely with the technical project team, leading the application part of projects.
- Contribute to innovative and exciting concepts for our customers.
- Keep abreast of market, regulatory and customer trends to support the development of the global portfolio.
- Monitor and maintain product quality and stability.
- Conduct internal sensory evaluations in close collaboration with Sensory Science and the flavour development team.
- Support internal workshops and trainings on applications within our segments (additives, ingredients, best practices and more).
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory working environment and processes.
