Finance Project Manager - Treasury & Transformation

Permanent employee, Full-time · Zurich

Role description
We are looking for a Finance Project Manager to join our growing Finance team in Switzerland, reporting to the Global Head of Finance. In this role, you will build Arethia's Treasury function - designing processes, systems, and documentation. You will also support our international finance initiatives, including transfer pricing implementation and broader transformation projects across our global entity structure.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys creating structure. You will work across our entities in Germany, Switzerland, Dubai, Indonesia, and soon the United States, gaining deep exposure to international finance operations in a rapidly scaling business. For the right person, this role offers significant scope to grow with the function you help build.
Your Mission
  • Treasury Development –Map all bank accounts and relationships across entities, create global cash visibility reporting, and design cash forecasting processes.
  • Cash Management Architecture – Develop and implement cash pooling structures, establish primary banking relationships for existing and new markets, and build the intercompany loan framework with standardized documentation.
  • Transfer Pricing Operations – Support the implementation of intercompany agreements, ensure cash flows align with contractual terms, and contribute to documentation efforts with external advisors.
  • Systems & Tools – Define requirements for a Treasury Management System integrated with our ERP, evaluate vendor options, and build the business case for implementation.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination – Partner with finance teams across geographies, participate in Global Finance Meetings, and drive process improvement initiatives that address fragmented data and workflows.
  • Policy & Documentation – Create Treasury policies, procedures, and templates that establish consistent practices across all entities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience planning, tracking, and driving initiatives to completion.
  • Experience in finance operations, such as accounting processes, month-end close, or ERP systems.
  • Comfortable working across cultures and navigating ambiguity in a growing organisation.
  • Based in Switzerland.
  • Business-level communication skills in English. German a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ERP implementations or finance system rollouts (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central).
  • Exposure to Treasury concepts such as cash pooling, FX management, or bank relationship management.
  • Familiarity with multi-entity, international corporate structures.
  • Knowledge of intercompany transactions and transfer pricing fundamentals.
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems or consolidation software such as LucaNet.
  • Strong skills in executing in modern collaboration tools (Atlassian: Jira, Confluence)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
