Role description

The Finance Manager Indonesia is a leadership role responsible for professionalizing the local finance function and ensuring the Indonesian entity operates to group standards. This role combines hands-on finance leadership with the opportunity to shape how finance supports business growth.

You will report to the local Managing Director with a functional reporting line to the Global Head of Finance in Switzerland. This dual structure ensures you are embedded in local operations while connected to group finance strategy and standards.

Preferred Qualifications

Education & Professional Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 5+ years professional experience, with at least 3 years at a Big 4 firm (audit, transaction services, advisory, or consulting)

  • Manufacturing, FMCG, or chemical industry experience highly valued

  • IFRS/PSAK knowledge required; CPA or equivalent certification preferred

  • Having Brevet AB and C would be preferable



Technical Skills

  • ERP Systems: Experience with ERP implementation or optimization (Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP Business One, or similar)

  • Atlassian Tools: Proficient user of Jira for task/project management and Confluence for documentation

  • Advanced Excel: Expert-level Excel skills; mindset to systematize and reduce manual processes over time

  • Intercompany Accounting: Understanding of multi-entity structures, transfer pricing basics, and intercompany reconciliation


Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Self-starter: Comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from scratch

  • Communication: Strong English (written and verbal) for daily interaction with Swiss and German finance teams

  • Team Development: Proven ability to coach and develop junior staff

  • Growth Mindset: Sees this as a career-building opportunity at a growing international company



Nice to Have

Experience with shared services or process standardization; exposure to consolidation tools (LucaNet, HFM, or similar); familiarity with Power Automate or workflow automation; prior exposure to European parent company structures.
