Role description

As Digital Transformation Lead at HFMI, you will provide direct strategic support to the Managing Director (MD) and act as the connective tissue between HFMI and the wider Arethia Group. You will create transparency across all active initiatives within HFMI and take ownership for driving the group transformation forward, leading a small PMO team and orchestrating local IT in close partnership with our central organisation in Germany. This role is key to professionalising execution as HFMI continues to grow within the Group.

Your Mission

Strategic Support to the Managing Director
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to the MD on operational, organisational, and transformation topics.
  • Integrate HFMI with global teams, building trust and alignment across geographies.
  • Apply systems thinking to connect across silos, surface interdependencies, and unblock execution.
PMO Leadership
  • Structure, govern, and oversee the local project portfolio across digital, operational, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Create transparency across all active projects within HFMI and take ownership of keeping them on track.
  • Directly manage selected high-priority projects, ensuring clarity and timely delivery.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans with project owners across departments.
  • Continued collaboration with the central PMO, ensuring alignment with global PM governance and portfolio reporting standards
  • Establish pragmatic local project management standards and governance in collaboration with the central PMO team.
Local IT Orchestration
  • Act as the local point of contact for central IT in Germany, ensuring smooth coordination and clear local representation.
  • Lead and develop the on-site IT team, promoting service-minded ways of working and clean documentation practices on the ground.
  • Translate local business needs into structured requirements and coordinate local delivery of Group-led IT initiatives.
  • Spot local risks and changes early and escalate before they become problems. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in project or programme management, ideally with broad orchestration or staff-function character.
  • Track record of delivering cross-functional initiatives in an international environment, ideally outside the HQ.
  • Strong systems thinking, structuring ability, and senior stakeholder management.
  • People leadership experience with a small, high-leverage team.
  • Sufficient technical literacy in enterprise systems and digital initiatives; able to engage with central IT, challenge constructively, and guide local implementation without requiring hands-on system administration.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry exposure to manufacturing, FMCG, or flavour & fragrance.
