Application Technologist - Tabak & Nikotin (m/w/d)
Role description
Your Mission
Sample Preparation – Prepare flavoured applications, raw materials, dilutions, premixes, and experimental blends for Tobacco & Nicotine development and sales activities.
Sample Coordination – Coordinate with production teams to obtain the flavour samples needed for laboratory activities.
Laboratory Documentation – Create and maintain tax-related documentation, sample records, and traceability information for tobacco samples in the laboratory.
Application Support – Support prototype preparation, internal evaluations, customer visits, and sensory testing with well-prepared application samples.
Lab Organization – Maintain development samples, retains, trial materials, stock levels, labeling, storage discipline, and equipment cleanliness.
Cross-functional Support – Work with Product & Portfolio Management, Sensory, Science & Technology, and Technical Sales to support project meetings, evaluations, and customer submissions.
Minimum Qualifications
Training or practical experience in chemistry, food chemistry, laboratory technology, chemical technical assistance, or a related technical field.
Experience with formulations, raw materials, and precise weighing or blending tasks.
Structured way of working with strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
Business-level communication skills in English and German.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a flavour, fragrance, tobacco, nicotine, food, or adjacent laboratory environment.
Exposure to Tobacco & Nicotine applications, prototype handling, or sensory sample preparation.
Awareness of hygiene, safety, quality standards, and good laboratory practice.
Ability to support several projects in parallel and collaborate across functions.
Experience with regulated development environments or technical sample documentation.
